Pink and Girly


I used bright pink card to make the single twisted easel card
then matted and layered with silver mirri and
pink glitter card, I used cuttle bug to cut the shape for the happy birthday
and special daughter and inked these with Tim Holts
spun sugar, then trimmed with a pink bow

then matted and layered them with silver mirri card
coloured white card with Tim Holtz Spun Sugar
then made flowers from the coloured card

Chocolate Easel Card


The card was designed and cut on my silhouette SD.
One end was folded and glued along with a draw to
 form a box with a window and chocolates added.
The easel was decorated using image and backing papers from 
Shoes in bloom with image of cherry blossom.
Then decorated with cream organza ribbon and pink gems

Now for the 7 things about me

I/ I have a wonderfully supportive husband and a gorgeous 17yr daughter
2/ I love cats and have 5 of them, 2 are strays that have made themselves at home
3/ I love baking and decorating cakes, this was the start of my love of crafts 
4/ I have been card crafting for about 5yrs, but the last year have been enjoying
getting really into my crafting.
5/ Up until last February I worked as a store supervisor for a large supermarket
and left after 16yrs due to moving out of the area
6/ I have and interest in Crystal Healing and Angels, I have crystals everywhere
and I love reading books by Doreen Virtue 
7/ I love doing nail art

Spring Song




Our Challenge this time was to have a "Spring Song" inspired theme.
I used the big rose cutting file, this reminded me of
Bette Midlers The Rose
I cut an easel using my silhouette Sd, matted and layered the easel with silver mirri
and white card, I used distress ink round the edge.
the top layer of the rose was embossed then went over with the same distress ink.
I embossed the leaves and went over with green ink
the base was edged with the distress ink again then pink lace border added

Mothers Day

I made a triple twisted easel card, and unusual for me I didn't use my silhouette SD
using my cuttlebug I cut the shapes and frames for the panels,  stamped a "MUM"
verse for the centre panel and put flower image in the side panels the base was matted layered
with gold mirri and a lilac paper with butterflies on it, the same paper was used for the frames and 
centre panel

On my design I had 2 butterflies and 2 butterflies.
I cut 2 butterflies using my Silhouette SD to make a book style card trimmed this 
with ribbon and gems, made roses out of the same paper used for the card.

Sports Car


I cut a single twisted easel on my silhouette
backing paper and image are off  My Craft Studio
Everyday Mens
I matted layered the backing paper on to silver mirri
along with the image I used as a stopper on the base.
the black frame was cut on my silhouette
then used peel off for the wording

Double easel was cut on my silhouette SD along with the frame and the mat that the verse is on. The lily image has been glittered for a little exta sparkle. All the pink effect was from distressing with Tim Holts Spun Sugar then finished off with organza ribbon and pearl sticky gems

My first project as a Design Team Member for Paper Crafting World.
I used Cat In The Hat Sitting-Reading Digital Stamp
I started with a book template on my silhouette SD, then
used red card from my stash to define the book shape.
the image was matted and layered on white and gold mirri card.
I used gold pen to mark lines for pages then I found a Cat in Hat saying for the front
